It is a very uncertain time for all with budget restraints and obvious worries of the impact to services for Older People. BOPA are working hard on the behalf of the over 50's in Bradford to limit the impact of these savings to older people in our district.
Post Office Delivery Office Closures
Royal Mail has confirmed their plans to close delivery offices in Shipley, Bingley and Thornton. They have taken this decision without any public consultation stating that the company is not obliged to consult publicly on its proposals. In the case of many older people without transport this is far more than an inconvenience.
